Never Alone

Hey there! We are Casa Mía, a recovery home for women and children located in

San Antonio, Texas. We specialize in helping pregnant and parenting women who are recovering from substance use disorders get back on their feet. Our primary goal and passion is keeping families together! It is that very passion that led us to recognize a need in our community and a way to fulfill that need! We are one of only a few programs in the entire state of Texas that accommodates both mother and baby and allows them

to remain together as a family unit.

Lisa Cleveland Ph.D., RN, CPNP, IBCLC, NTMNC, FAAN, is an associate professor in the School of Nursing at UT Health San Antonio. She is a national expert on opioid use disorder, and her research focuses on the care of pregnant women who use opioids and their newborns, who often are born with neonatal abstinence syndrome or opioid withdrawal.
