The Answers You Need

HOW LONG CAN I STAY?

There is no set limit to how long a resident can stay at Casa Mía. We work with you on a case by case basis to help determine what your timeline will look like.

DOES THE HOUSE HAVE SECURITY?

We are staffed 24/7 to help all of our residents feel safe and secure. We also have up to date security systems and meet all the proper code in order to properly house our residents comfortably.

DO YOU HAVE RECOVERY SUPPORT OR OTHER CLASSES?

Yes, please visit the services tab in the menu to learn more.

IS THERE DAYCARE AVAILABLE IF I GET A JOB?

Our staff will work with you to set up the child-care schedule that is right for you. Whether that's extended family or a daycare center. We will help you to find the schedule that makes you feel the most comfortable while you are away at work.

CAN I COOK ON SITE?

Much of the food for the house is brought in by our caterer, but there is a kitchenette on site if you would like to prepare your own food. We also offer cooking classes throughout the month to help mothers learn about nutrition and health.

IS THERE A PLAYGROUND OR PARK NEARBY?

We have a playground on site for all of our families to enjoy.

CAN MY FAMILY VISIT?

Your family is absolutely allowed, and even encouraged, to visit the house. We do not allow over night guests in the house, but family is absolutely encouraged to come and visit our mamas and babies.

WILL I HAVE ACCESS TO A COMPUTER?

Yes, we do have computers and internet available onsite for your use.

IS THERE A BUS STOP NEARBY?

Yes, the bus system is very easy to navigate and our wonderful staff is happy to show you the routes and even go with you to appointments or other places you may need to visit while you learn your way around.

IF SOMEONE WISHES TO DONATE TO THE HOUSE, HOW CAN THEY DO SO?

We are state funded and non-profit organizations and we appreciate donations! You can visit our School of Nursing donation page here or our Amazon registry here to donate. Every penny given will go directly towards helping the women and children that we serve!
